Sound Healing in Eldwick & Bingley

Sound healing is a deeply relaxing holistic therapy that uses therapeutic sound frequencies to restore balance to the mind, body, and emotions. I offer both personalised 1:1 sound healing sessions from my peaceful treatment room in Eldwick, conveniently located near Bingley, as well as group sound baths held at various local venues.

This gentle yet powerful therapy is ideal for stress relief, anxiety, and supporting overall wellbeing.

What is Sound Healing?

Sound healing (often known as a sound bath) works with vibration and frequency to bring the body back into a natural state of harmony.

Using Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, along with other therapeutic instruments, sound is played around and sometimes on the body. These soothing vibrations help calm the nervous system, release tension, and promote deep relaxation.

Many people find sound healing beneficial for reducing stress, improving sleep, easing anxiety, and restoring emotional balance.

How Does Sound Healing Work?

Every cell in the body vibrates at its own natural frequency, and each organ resonates optimally when we are in good health. Stress and emotional strain can disrupt this balance.

Sound healing uses specific frequencies to help restore harmony within the body. The vibrations encourage brainwave states linked to deep relaxation, gently guiding the body out of “fight or flight” mode and into a restorative state.

As the body is made up of around 70% water, it responds well to sound vibrations, allowing the effects to travel deeply and support both physical and emotional wellbeing.

1:1 Sound Healing vs Sound Baths – What’s the Difference?

I offer both 1:1 sound healing sessions and group sound baths, each providing a unique experience.

A 1:1 session is a personalised treatment tailored specifically to your needs. Held in my calm treatment room in Eldwick, these sessions allow for deeper relaxation and focused, individual support.

Sound baths are group sessions where you are immersed in sound alongside others, creating a shared, meditative atmosphere that is equally calming and restorative.

Both options are effective for stress relief and relaxation—it simply depends on whether you prefer a private, bespoke treatment or a group experience. Details of upcoming sound baths can be found on my Facebook page.

What to Expect During a 1:1 Sound Healing Session

Your session begins with a short consultation to understand how you’re feeling and what you would like to focus on.

You will then lie down comfortably, fully clothed, in a calm and supportive environment. I gently play a combination of Himalayan and crystal singing bowls and other instruments around and sometimes on the body.

The sound vibrations help quiet the mind, release tension, and guide you into a deeply relaxed, meditative state. Many clients experience a sense of calm, warmth, or emotional release.

Each session is unique and tailored to you. After the treatment, there is time to slowly reawaken and reflect on your experience.

Chakra Assessment

As part of your 1:1 session, I include a gentle chakra assessment to help identify areas of energetic imbalance.

Chakras are energy centres within the body linked to different aspects of physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. When balanced, we tend to feel calm and aligned; when out of balance, we may feel stressed or unsettled.

Using intuitive awareness and sound, I work to support the balance of these energy centres, creating a more personalised and holistic treatment.

This is a holistic wellbeing practice and not a medical diagnosis.
